A Commitment to the Environment

At the Crane Group, we believe the Earth is our greatest natural resource.  It is our home and we are committed to protecting the Earth’s limited natural resources through the manufacturing and sales of environmentally-responsible building products.

Our manufacturing methods and product development strategies are designed to continually reduce our ecological footprint.  We do this in many ways, including water and energy conservation, reduction of emissions, especially CO2, preference for the use of renewable resources, and the reuse and recycle of our product and manufacturing residuals. Our goal is to be a sustainable group of companies.

For more than 60 years, the Crane Group has been developing, manufacturing and marketing products primarily made from plastics.  From those roots The Crane Group has grown to include several innovation-driven companies which manufacture products from a portfolio of advanced, high-performance and environmentally-friendly materials, including plastics and plastic composites.

In our search for product improvements and new products, every day new ideas that preserve and protect our natural resources are explored.  Additionally, The Crane Group follows closely the work of the Green Building Network and the U.S. Green Building Council.  These and other related building programs are a positive step forward for our building products industry as we search for responsible and sustainable building materials for today and tomorrow.  Likewise, we support initiatives in the communities where we operate to promote awareness and adoption of sustainable building practices.
